In accordance with Decree No. 2015-91 of January 21, 2015, ANAM was established as the National Port Security Authority (NPSA), responsible for implementing the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code.
ANAM is responsible for implementing and monitoring the application of port security regulations at the national level. It has the authority to enforce all security-related regulations and ensure their application in all aspects.
